Duties:
“The NT State Office (NTSO) is responsible for managing the delivery of a range of programs including Family Services, Community and CDEP Programs, and the Community Housing and Infrastructure Programs. The office is also responsible for implementing Land Reform initiatives and administering the Aboriginal Land Rights (NT) Act 1976 including the day to day operations of the Aboriginals Benefit Account. It has a lead role in the whole-of-government coordination effort in Indigenous affairs across Australian Government agencies at the Territory, regional and community level, and in supporting the implementation of measures under the NT National Emergency Response.The Business Support Unit supports the NT State Office, North and South Regional Directors and ICC network in the NT to achieve FaHCSIA’s outcomes. It has responsibility for the provision of Human Resources and Financial advice and management to the Executive in addition to delivering a range of corporate services including reception, mail, records management, recruitment, learning and development, occupational health and safety, property, facilities and fleet management, security and accounts payable.Assist Manager Finance to provide financial services support and advice to the FaHCSIA Executive and staff in the NT State Office.
